I just placed an order, when should I expect it to ship?
StartingOutSmall makes every effort to fulfill orders in a timely manner, which is usually within 2 business days. (It can, however take 3-5 business days). In some cases, due to unforeseen circumstances, the process may take longer. In situations where a product has an expected delay or build time, the approximate ship date will be communicated as best as possible.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged only when your order has been secured and is ready to ship. In case of unavailability, you will be contacted and your credit card will not be charged.
What currency is accepted?
The StartingOutSmall site you are currently viewing serves North America and all prices are coded by default in U.S. Dollars. Your credit card may automatically convert the charges into a foreign currency; please check with your banking institution.I am having trouble getting correct shipping prices/availability to my address, what should I do?
If you are experiencing problems placing an order due to our shopping cart not providing appropriate shipping options/price, please contact us and we will work out an alternative for you ASAP.
How do I know if an item is in stock?
All items are in stock unless "Sold Out" is displayed. Please be aware that even if an item is in your shopping bag, it can still be bought by another customer as you are completing an order. In the event an item is unavailable, you will be contacted in a timely manner by StartingOutSmall and your credit card uncharged.
Do I need to set up an account to place an order?
No, you may securely shop at any time at StartingOutSmall without being required to log in.
Do you ship to international addresses?
Currently we do not ship outside of the U.S. If shipping to Hawaii or Alaska, you may incur additional shipping charges. Please contact us prior to your check out.How can I track the shipment of my order?
When available, tracking information is provided in all shipment confirmation emails.
Do you charge sales tax?
Only for New Jersey state residents.
Do you accept refunds/returns?
We, at StartingOutSmall are so sure you will love whatever product you purchase from us, however, if for any reason you are not 100% satisfied, please return your purchase within 14 days. The item/s must be in unused condition with the tags still intact. Any shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Once we receive the products in the condition it was sent in, we will refund your money in the form of payment you sent.
After 14 days, you will be able to return a purchase but you will incur a 15% restocking fee and all return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. You have up to 60 days to return, after that, there are no more returns.
If an item arrives damaged, please notify us within 2 business days and we will gladly pay for the return shipping. You can then either receive a replacement, exchange for a another product of equal value or we will refund your money in the form of payment provided. The choice is yours! It is that simple.

We respect the environment as much as you do and we strive to create our products with sustainable and recyclable materials such as aluminum and cork, but unfortunately not all of our products are 100% eco-friendly.
