For as long as I can recall, I wanted to have my own business. I have a background in teaching and my young students were always an inspiration to me. When I became a parent, I had always dreamed of opening up my own baby/toddler boutique someday, but I never thought my dream would ever become a reality.

Then, when I became pregnant with my third child in 2008, I spent a considerable amount of time searching the internet for products specifically for babies from birth until approximately age 2-3; ranging from pacifier clips to burp cloths, onesies and other accessories since my youngest was turning 6. It soon became apparent, that as a busy mom of three children ages 8 and younger, I had less and less time to physically shop in stores. In addition, I discovered that there was a real need for practical accessories and baby gifts that were unique as well as beautiful. There are tons of products on the market, but I was searching for the functional yet fancy, the practical yet precious and of course, some hard to find items as well.

So, one day, my dear husband told me "just go for it". So, with his help and blessing, we registered the company when I came up with the idea of "starting out small". We also wanted to incorporate the idea of having organic and "green" products. We feel it is important to preserve our environment and keep it as safe and clean as possible for people, animals and nature alike. (We are hoping to expand upon this concept at a later time). Voila! That is how StartingOutSmall LLC. evolved.

We are "starting out small" with only a handful of products geared for ages birth until age 2, but plan to build up as time goes on. At StartingOutSmall, we take great pride in having excellent customer service in addition to having quality products that are both fun and functional from birth until age 2. We believe we have chosen only the very finest of products for your most precious little ones. Being a stay at home mom has been so rewarding, and to now be able to also run an online boutique of baby gifts from home as well, I feel I have the best of both worlds...Thank you for taking the time to visit.
